How to Refill Graphite

1. remove metal cap and eraser
2. be sure tube and tip are clear of broken graphite
3. slide new graphite in then replace eraser and metal cap
4. hold pencil tip down and click to advance new graphite
5. sometimes a quick shake helps drop graphite

I made the resin barrel for this pen with a two part resin and dozens of color pencils. The pencils were secured in a mold with the two part resin and hardened under 60 pounds per square inch of pressure in a specialized chamber. This process eliminated bubbles in the clear resin. The block of long color pencils was cut into individual pen blanks across the long axis to reveal the colorful ends when turned on the lathe.
